Tuesday 25th February - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – Mainly cloudy but some spells of sunshine.

I actually managed a whole night with no coughing but the germs linger:( it was a mainly cloudy start to the day with brief glimpse of sun so I decided to drive over to Morrisions to take some pics of the crocus’s growing in the grass which are lovely. Then with the winds light and some sun I whizzed down to Felixstowe dock view point to take a few pics of reflections in a large puddle for the TV weather, sadly they were not chosen today:( I then did my exercises before packing a picnic as we haven’t been on one for awhile, yummy egg sandwiches with home grown cress and as we had to go to Lidl we decided to stay in Felixstowe by driving down to The Dip for a walk around the ever moving shingle banks with some top clouds too! It is hard work walking on sand and shingle and we were pleased to reach our lunch spot by the River Deben having a top picnic enjoying the peace and quiet. We then took the easy route back to our van along the footpath, followed by a quick trip to Lidl and home for a cuppa and cake:)
